nmcn hat trick at 2020 Water Industry Awards

It was a great afternoon for nmcn at the 2020 Water Industry Awards virtual ceremony which took place on 30th July. 

nmcn received three awards including ‘Water Industry Contractor of the Year’ award for the third consecutive year. Making up the trio of awards were:

Health & Safety Initiative of the Year – Mental Health Risk Assessment Plus (MHRA+)

The judges commented “Innovative and robust initiative, well-supported by appended evidence, which demonstrably fits into a high quality, well-grounded H&S management system.”

Women in Water – ASP Batch: Severn Trent, CiM6 (Costain and Stantec), MMB and nmcn – ‘The Golden Thread’ of women delivering the ASP Batch

The judges said, “This is a really great example of women in water at every level, the impact that can be made and the positive role model contributions can clearly be seen.”

“I’m delighted that the hard work and dedication of our people has been recognised for the third consecutive year at the Water Industry Awards. The positive impact of our activities on our people, our customers and other stakeholders continues to impress me and I look forward to what we can achieve moving forward.”

The Judges said:

“nmcn have shown they are not only well-integrated within the sector, but continue to deliver on the standards built into their business model”

Now in their 14th year, the Water Industry Awards, organised by WWT, recognise the excellent work of UK water companies and their supply chain to innovate across their operations, among
their workforce and with customers. From asset optimisation to product innovation and all points between, the awards are all about the people in companies making change happen.
