Alpha Plus Ltd upgrade pipework at Mitchell Laithes WWTW
Project involved the upgrade of the existing facility with the pipework installation of new centrifuges, sludge thickening, tank transfer systems. New RAS and SAS mains were fabricated and installed, along with pipework, baffles and weirs in the ASP lanes. Majority of the pipework was 304L stainless steel metric trubore pipework with some plastic pressure pipework and FBE coated mild steel.Typical stainless steel diameters were 150mm – 250mm, PVC pipework between 1” and 4” and mild steel from 500mm – 1200mm. Contract Value £600,000.
