Case Study - Pulsonic Technologies Ltd
Pulsonic Technologies helps food manufacturer deal with FOGs
Kerry Foods installed a new DAF (Dissolved Air Floatation) plant to treat their effluent stream, which is largely made up of fats, oils and greases. Following treatment from the DAF plant the effluent stream was very acidic and
breached Kerry Foods discharge pH consent of 6-10, and no final effluent treatment or monitoring of the system had been proposed.
Kerry Foods approached Pulsonic Technologies to install the required system to meet with the water authorities consents as a matter of urgency. Pulsonic Technologies, renowned for offering total solutions to customers, designed and installed a bespoke pH balancing system, Aqualogger combined flow meter and data logger, V-notch weir tank, final pH monitoring meter and a 4 bottle refrigerated sampler all within 4 weeks from agreeing the specification with Kerry Foods.
