Anglian Water Renewable Energy Summit
Date: 9th February 2012
Location: Eco Innovation Centre, Peterborough
Anglian Water have set an aspirational target of generating around 25% of the energy used by the business (AW’s current energy demand is around 700 Gwh/yr) from renewable sources by 2015. Even with current plans for two wind turbine sites and to increase the percentage produced from biogas CHP, there is still a 10% gap in meeting this target.
All of the key Anglian Water managers involved in the renewable energy strategy will be devoting a day to talk in detail about the challenges and the opportunities. They want to meet with companies in the renewable energy sector that can work with them to close this 10% gap.

The first 20 companies to register will be invited to make an ‘elevator pitch’ of their company at the event.
