 Managing the Water Cycle Effectively

2pm to 4pm

Atlee Suite, Portcullis House

The All Party Parliamentary Group for Water will be co-hosting a meeting with the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology on Tuesday 3 May from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House.

The meeting will be looking into effective management of the water cycle and be chaired by Neil Parish, Chair of the EFRA Committee.

Unless dramatic changes are made in water use and in managing water resources, there will be a huge increase in global water demand, with the latest research predicting a 40% shortfall in water supply in the next 15 years. This session will examine how evidence is used in catchment management, how decisions are made and how to work with the community to undertake more effective interventions.

Please find more information about the event in a POST leaflet online here.
