British Water in partnership with MWH Treatment  are delighted to announce the fourth conference for BIM (Business Information Modelling) in the water sector on Thursday 30 March 2017, Aston Villa Football Club.

BIM, recognised by water companies as ‘Better Information Management’, is becoming better understood in the water sector. Over the last few years we have seen companies across the supply chain developing new ways of working which utilise digital technology, and move this into the mainstream.

This event will showcase companies that have had successes since adopting BIM approaches.

Realising the full potential of BIM in the future comes from the connection of the asset project world and the asset operations world. The vision of where the use of digital technology will lead is getting clearer and in some industries is becoming a reality. The information technology (IT), engineering technology (ET) and operations technology (OT) worlds are converging to deliver business performance benefits in risk management and financial management.

We will hear from speakers who are pushing forward with what BIM can deliver in the future as we connect and analyse data.

Speaker Companies Include:

  • Keynote - Dr Scott Steedman CBE , BSI
  • BIM4Water
  • Costain
  • DNV GL
  • IBM
  • MWH
  • Scottish Water
  • Skanska

There will be an opportunity for delegates to debate, in workshops, the issues raised during the presentations. Previous events have provided input to industry level development for BIM4Water and British Water.
