World Environment Day Awards and Lectures 2019

Date: 4th June 2019

Location: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

“A Spotlight on Net Gain”

Celebrate the work of environmental professionals, network with current and aspiring Chartered Environmentalists (CEnv) and Registered Environmental Technicians (REnvTech), meet representatives from our Licensed Bodies, learn from insightful expert lectures and discover how to register as a CEnv or REnvTech - all on the eve of World Environment Day 2019.

The 2019 event will include the Society’s annual presentation of the Environmental Professional of the Year Award – recognising the outstanding work of CEnv and REnvTech registrants. This prestigious award will contribute to an evening of celebrating and showcasing the achievements of those striving to protect and enhance the environment on a daily basis.

Alongside the awards will be a series of Expert Lectures on the chosen topic of "Net Gain", which we will provide links to the recently announced global UN Environment theme of "Air Pollution". A fantastic learning opportunity for delegates, alongside the chance to network with leading experts during refreshment breaks.

Alongside added opportunities for networking and tours of Kew Gardens, the Society will also be presenting new Honorary Fellows of the Society for the Environment (HonFSE) prior to the annual HonFSE Lecture.
