4th Annual Water Professors' Workshop & Dinner

This workshop and dinner is sponsored by United Utilities who are using the opportunity to gain input from the research community.


Jo Harrison, Asset Management Director at United Utilities, will lead a 2-hour workshop with her team from 3pm-5pm.
Jo is the Director of Asset Management at United Utilities. She has over 20 years of experience of working in the water industry and has worked for UU since joining the company in 1998. She is a chartered member of the Institute of Water and Environmental Managers (CIWEM) and a Chartered Environmentalist. She is also a member of the UKWIR Board, a member of the North West Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) and a Trustee of the Community Forest Trust.


Steve Fraser, United Utilities' Chief Operating Officer, will be our guest speaker for the dinner, which will take place from 7pm.
Steve Fraser joined United Utilities in 2005 from Bethell Group, where he was operations director. Prior to his current position of Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for running United Utilities Energy and Contracting Services, a global utilities outsourcing and asset management business with a turnover of £750 million.

 

Location

The Macdonald Manchester hotel is situated in the heart of the vibrant city of Manchester, just a few minutes' walk from Manchester Piccadilly railway station.
