A Step Change in Water Distribution for AMP6 - How are we going to make it happen?

Date: 21st May 2012

Location: The Rose Bowl, Leeds

Time: 9.30 am (coffee served) for 10.00 am start (ends with buffet networking lunch at 1.30 pm)

Many practices in the management and operation of water distribution systems have remained largely unchanged in the last 30 years.  This seminar will look at the challenges currently faced in water distribution systems and will explore the opportunities that exist and which may be realised through collaborative working for innovative solutions and management practices. The crucial question is what needs to be done to make these a reality in AMP6?

The seminar will feature presentations from key stakeholders from across the industry, with each speaker presenting their views on:

What are the challenges?

What are the opportunities?

What do we need to focus on?

What's getting in the way?

This will be followed by a panel/audience discussion around what’s getting in the way of progress.  A light buffet lunch will follow at 1.30pm.
