Introducing product innovation and new technologies within the UK water industry can be a difficult process. Science and research resource funding has been set by government at £4.6 billion per annum from 2011-2016, but how does research impact industry and translate into practical applications?

Speakers from across the sector will present their views on work currently underway to address the challenges of bringing innovation into the water sector and how this can be improved.

  • How to bring innovation to a water company?
  • How to work together and deliver more impact?

Speakers:

Professor Tony Conway Director, Conway Water Consulting
Jon Brigg Manager of Innovation, Yorkshire Water
Bob Stear Head of Research & Development, Severn Trent Water
Professor Joby Boxall Professor of Water Infrastructure Engineering, Sheffield University
Dr Adam Brookes

Following their presentations, the speakers will then take part in a panel/audience Q&A session, followed by a networking lunch.
