Tapping the Potential of the UK Water Technology Sector

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WORKSHOP IS BY INVITATION ONLY

This workshop will contribute to the development of a national report that should make a significant difference to the way UK water research and product innovation reaches the market-place, both nationally and globally.

The report, entitled “Tapping the Potential of the UK Water Technology Sector”, is being prepared by the Business & Economy Group of the UK Water Research and Innovation Partnership led by the Government Chief Scientific Advisor.

The workshop will focus on “A market perspective on the barriers to bringing new innovative products and services to market from the research community and other sources.”

The workshop will seek views on:

o        what are the barriers?

o        where else can we learn from?

o        what can we learn from elsewhere?

o        what are the opportunities for improvement?

The workshop is being supported by the Environmental Sustainability KTN.
