Water Industry Procurement – How can it be Improved for AMP7?

Date: 20th June 2017

Location: Rose Bowl, Leeds

The introduction of ‘Outcomes’ and ‘Totex’ in AMP6 has raised a number of questions around the suitability of existing procurement processes and the choice of appropriate partners for AMP7. With water companies having now started detailed preparations for PR19 and AMP7, this seminar will explore these issues. We have invited five key figures from across the sector to give their perspectives on the following questions:

  • Are water companies getting the best outcomes from their procurement models?
  • Can existing models really deliver anymore efficiency?
  • Can existing models drive the right outcomes in a totex world?
  • Are suppliers offering the best commercial models?
  • Are current models generating the necessary innovation?
  • Do current models have unintended consequences?
  • What three things would help improve water industry procurement in AMP7?
