For 45 years, from our Head Office and factory in Dewsbury West Yorkshire, we have developed the capability of producing the world’s largest corrosion-resistant all-thermoplastic spiral wound chemical storage tanks and vessels designed to BS EN 12573 and BS EN 1778. Chem Resist enjoys an enviable reputation for designing and building chemical storage tanks and installations for many of the UK’s leading companies. Manufactured in Polypropylene and High Density Polyethylene with diameters up to 4 metres and capacities up to 120m3, all our thermoplastic chemical storage tanks & vessels provide a true alternative to glass fibre reinforced (GRP) and traditional lined metal vessels for the storage and processing of corrosive solutions. Our unique spiral winding process means we are not restricted to fixed diameters or heights – so we can manufacture what you need rather than what we can make! Integral Safety Bunds in thermoplastic offer a low cost, completely corrosion resistant alternative to constructing a lined concrete bund to contain a potential spillage and these can also be equipped with a rain-skirt for external siting. Chemical Mixing Tanks, Chemical Cooling and Acid Recovery Systems are available as part of the Chem Resist product portfolio and a broad range of valving, pumps and controls can be supplied with the storage vessels to complete the package. Our own highly experienced installation team is able to deliver and install individual vessels or complete systems if requested. Our Fluid Transfer division are distributors for Almatec, Pan World, World Chemical, Munsch and Schmitt Chemical transfer pumps.
