Exciting news about the Water Industry Forum

Over the last few months we have been working hard to make some really significant improvements to the way the Water Industry Forum (WIF) business network operates.  These improvements build on member feedback over the last two years. This told us that the events that members valued the most were those that gave them the opportunity to engage with the water companies and their tier one partners.

We are now, therefore, pleased to be able to say that in January we will be formally launching a revised business model for WIF which will put the UK water companies and their tier one partners at the centre of the WIF network.  Our plans have received strong support from the water companies with five water companies and three tier ones having already joined WIF as “partners”.

The January announcement will also be accompanied by a new events’ programme based around a series of events which we are currently planning with the water companies and their tier 1 framework partners.

Finally, we are pleased to announce that on 30th September WIF formerly separated from its parent (Yorkshire Chemical Focus Ltd) to become Water Industry Forum Ltd - a completely separate, independent, not-for-profit company.  At the same time WIF received new investment to establish its revised business model and to underwrite the development of a new website early next year.  As a result of this there is growing excitement for the future.
