Membership Services Co-ordinator

Part time (3 days/21-24 hours per week)


Up to £13,200 pa for 24 hours per week (equivalent to a full time salary of up to £22,000 pa)

The Water Industry Forum provides an independent stakeholder forum for the UK water sector.  Our primary aim is to facilitate collaboration and innovation around the many challenges faced by the sector.  We do this by organising seminars, workshops, dinners, competitions, focus groups and round table discussions.  Our membership comprises over 500 member organisations including regional water companies, contractors, consultants, suppliers, research organisations, government, regulators, third sector organisations and investors.  

We are looking for an experienced administrator to manage our membership process and maintain our website.  In addition they will support the Operations Manager with the administration of events, member communications, handling enquiries, invoicing and general office administration.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in most of the above areas with a minimum of five years total relevant experience.  Experience of working with at least one of the following is essential: website content management software; accountancy packages; customer relationship management databases.

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate:

- excellent writing skills

- well developed skills in the use of MS Office

- a customer focused approach developed in a service based environment

- excellent attention to detail

- the ability to build rapport easily and work effectively within a small team

- the capability and willingness to further develop their skills.
