WIF on key government group

WIF has been invited to join a working group set up by the UK Water Research and Innovation Partnership (UKWRIP). UKWRIP is chaired by the UK Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Sir John Beddington and is composed of private, public and third sector bodies. It was convened to address the UK’s urgent and important water challenges, and to set out a clear and ambitious framework for the future.

With 280+ supply chain members, WIF has been asked to represent the private sector, (particularly SME’s), on the business and economy group.

UKWRIP launched its strategic approach in December at the annual All Party Parliamentary Water Group innovation event at the House of Commons.
