WIF Website Workshops

After researching a number of website design seminars and following a successful Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign, WIF designed a series of bespoke website workshops specifically for the water industry and WIF members.

The first event “Getting the Most out of your Website was successfully held in October using member websites to illustrate how to best maximise on-line activity as well as emphasis content development opportunities.   All delegates rated the event as excellent.  This was followed by “Learn about social networking - is it right for your business?” held in December despite the best efforts of the snow.  There were very lively discussions during the event with attendees given the opportunity to have their queries answered and look at how to create a suitable social media strategy.

The key factor of the WIF website workshops is that the workshops are geared for our membership and designed to interest them enough to go away and do something with the knowledge learned.  We believe that the website workshops have done this and the series will be run again in 2011.
